Carbo Loading

After my relaxation efforts, I snacked on some trail mix and worked my butt off trying to clean the apartment. I vacuumed, walked with Jared to pick up our laundry, put clothes and random junk away, and tried to get rid of the stinky trash smell that's hovering around the kitchen area.

Grrr, this picture wouldn't rotate! I made whole grain pasta for dinner so we could carbo load. I mixed pieces of leftover sausage in the pasta and topped everything with a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese. Plus a bowl of cucumbers with Italian dressing on the side.

I remembered that I wanted to get a headband from Lululemon for the race tomorrow. We took a quick walk to Copley and cut through to get to the Pru. So many people were out and about but we had to head right home to relax before the big run tomorrow.

I worked on a Marathon Playlist cuz I plan on running with my i-pod. I know that's usually discouraged, but the BAA actually had a message saying that they'd overlook this for people who aren't top competitors. Miles was extra clingy while I was trying to get stuff done. He's so long and awkward, also weighs 30 pounds, but he thinks he's a lap dog.

It's almost 10 pm and I'm watching the UF/LSU game. I'll probably go to bed within the next hour. I want to do a few more sets of exercises on the foam roller warm up my hip muscles. The alarm is set for 6 am and I need to be out the door by 7!
