Food Marathon

I wanted to post race pictures but I'm still waiting for my mom to upload everything from her camera.

Hopefully by some point later tonight or tomorrow?!?!

I had a Mimosa to celebrate my running victories.

Chris cooked brunch for all of us. Good for him, since we only have 2 functional burners on our stove.

We expanded the table so everyone had tons of space. Not really necessary...there were only 5 of us. But Jared was really psyched since we haven't really used the table since we bought it.

Chris's scrambled eggs mixed with cheese, peppers, and onions.

Plus a pile of bacon. So sorry...none of us are vegetarians/vegans, and the guys were really excited for this. There was a lot of talk about how to make the perfect Bacon Martini. The thought alone turns my stomach!

Ummm, someone melted a bag to the top of my toaster oven. Oops, haha!

Looks can be deceiving. This was totally delicious!

Miles was really hoping someone would drop something.

I ended up bringing 14 bars home from the race. Yikes...I went a little overboard grabbing free food!

Jared and I ordered pizza from the Upper Crust for dinner.

The Harvard Street with tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, and basil.

After such an exhausting morning, today was all about taking it easy. Aside from the soreness in my hips and butt, it was quite fun!

Disappointing day for Boston sports though. Losses by the Red Sox and the Patriots! Boo!

  1. Yeah- terrible day for Boston sports, but great day for you- I have no idea how I've made it so long without trying upper crust pizza, I need to get on it!

  2. Looks a like the perfect way to spend a day after running 13.1! Hope you enjoyed every second of the relaxation.

  3. lol what's wrong with bacon? Anything with bacon tastes delicious, in my opinion! ;)
